Google Now Launcher

Google Now Launcher is the official launcher from Google that works on all Nexus 5 series devices and which can also be used on any other device running Android 4.1 or above.

What Google Now Launcher basically does is put Google as the main feature on your device’s home screen. This means that, for example, traditional text messaging will no longer be your default messenger, a place that will now be given to Hangouts. It also gives voice search a huge place, allowing you to do just about anything by just telling your phone.

And of course, there’s Google Cards. With this system you simply slide your finger left in order to obtain loads of useful information. From nearby places of interest, to football game results and messaging notifications.
